When Dad is Your Mentor

in Great Dads, It's Great to be a Dad

You know you’ve got a great dad when you name him as your mentor, as actor/comedian Steve Harvey did in an interview with Parade Magazine this week.

I also loved how he talked about being a father to his children.  Despite his success and fame, it’s a priority for him.  Way to go, Steve.

Being Dad has to be a priority, if it’s not then there’s something seriously wrong.

I can’t imagine ever being considered a mentor, role model or even a good example to any of my kids, so kudos to Steve Harvey’s Dad for making the grade! 🙂
